Verification Disclaimer

CraftHire makes reasonable efforts to review candidate-submitted credentials, including licenses, certifications, and other documentation. However, CraftHire does not guarantee the accuracy, validity, authenticity, or current status of any credential submitted by a candidate.

Verification on our platform means that a candidate has submitted documentation that appeared consistent with their stated trade and experience level at the time of review. It does not constitute a legally binding confirmation that a license is active, current, or recognized in any specific jurisdiction.

Employers are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence, including independently verifying licenses through the appropriate state licensing boards, performing background checks, and completing any legally required employment eligibility verification (including Form I-9) prior to hiring.

Employment Eligibility

CraftHire is not an employer and does not verify employment eligibility under U.S. immigration law. Candidates self-attest to their authorization to work in the United States. Employers are responsible for completing Form I-9 and any applicable E-Verify requirements independently and in compliance with applicable law.

No Employment Guarantee

CraftHire is a job board platform connecting employers and tradespeople. We do not guarantee that any job posting will result in a hire, or that any candidate will receive or accept an offer of employment. We are not a staffing agency or recruiter.

Platform Use

By using CraftHire, employers and candidates agree to use the platform in good faith. Fraudulent submissions, misrepresentation of credentials, or abuse of the platform may result in removal without refund.

CraftHire reserves the right to remove any job posting or candidate profile that violates our standards, at our sole discretion.

Limitation of Liability

CraftHire is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, CraftHire and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from the use of this platform, including but not limited to hiring decisions made based on candidate profiles or verification status displayed on the site.

Privacy

Candidate documents uploaded for verification purposes are stored securely and used solely for the purpose of reviewing credentials. We do not share uploaded documents with third parties or employers. Employers receive only the information candidates choose to include in their profile.
